I was very excited to finally get this in the mail only to find out I just can’t use it. It’s very sturdy and it protects well, the problem is the lock button location on the phone. The case makes it lock some times when you don’t want it too and not lock when you do want it too, and with a touch screen the lock function is very important. I had to remove my battery several times to re-boot my phone because this would lock up the entire phone. I have heard great things about Otterbox but in this case it just gets in the way of the phones functionality.

The case itself is great. The insulation is good, the case is hard, not too bulky, I loved it… for all of a month and half. That’s when the front piece first broke. The top edge that keeps the piece secured to the sliding part of the phone pretty much just broke off. Ok, I can deal with that. I superglued it back on and continued to use it. Then the fitting on the bottom edge of same piece began to break, making it very easy for the faceplate to come flying off at the slightest knock. Superglued that one. Tried to keep using the case. And then last night, my phone slips out of my hand and both fittings simply snap off. It was good while it lasted, but that one piece is the dealbreaker. Its not sturdy and its not durable. If you can avoid bumping or dropping your phone at all, its a good buy. But then, why would you need a case?

Excellent product. It has an underlying rubber layer that protects the phone, yet has a smooth outer layer which allows it to easily slide into your pocket. All of this protection, yet it is not bulky. Also, it fits the phone perfectly – all of the buttons and openings are properly accessible.

I purchased this case for my Torch the same day I got the phone. It is awesome. Getting the phone into the case correctly takes a few minutes but after it is installed it’s amazing. I work in the construction field and this case provides plenty of protection for the tough environment I take it into every day.
